Tell me all about it, dear...

I so agree! I used to tell my kids that people like that have such miserable lives themselves that they have to make everyone around them miserable, too. I try not to deal with people like that!

Wil Wheaton (of Star Trek fame) emphasizes this often with his "Don't be a dick" rule. I've found it to be a good rule to live by, but then, that's just me ;)

I had a conversation about this very same subject with a co-worker/friend this morning. We're not going to play that stupid, infantile game, either. There are much better ways to get your rocks off.

It's amazing you should say this. I was just scrapping the other day that there are some people who wait to pounce. The only time they leave me a comment is to scold me for something. Or correct my observations on Facebook (like when I was told that California poppies are all yellow - eat me). My board president nailed me the other day because she did nit like the dashes I used on a printed agenda. Good thing she did't see the daggers on my hidden one I have with her.

I agree with you too. I always think that those who have to be so critical must have a really bad view of themselves so they pounce on anyone else who made an innnocent mistake....and the negativity of others is really bad. Can't we all just be happy for each other and get along..... I don't want to spend the rest of my life looking for reasons to correct others.....

And you are?
