Tell me all about it, dear...

I'm SOOO glad to hear that you're feeling better. I was getting quite worried myself. Three weeks without smoking! That is a huge accomplishment! I know you're probably feeling too crappy to feel good about it, right now, but I'm looking forward to the time when you start feeling good. I completely understand that you need some time before you can start blogging again. I think that is totally acceptable and expected. It's like how sometimes a streaming movie needs to pause and buffer before it can play. We all need that sometimes.

Glad to hear you are on feeling better and congratulations on your quit. If you are looking for some support, re-enforcement or just good reading on the topic I recommend "Tales from the quit" at www.woofmang.com there are lots of helpful stories and warnings of bumps along the way, I found it invaluable when I quit (9 years ago last June, after 24 years smoking). If you decide to post, tell them I sent you, they will take good care of you. I remember a friend who said the same about the writing, she couldn't imagine writing without smoking. She too is smoke free and writing away, it will get easier. Enough unsolicited advice, if you would like to talk or need support, please feel free to drop me a line. One more thing, when you feel the need to light up, breathe, smokers rarely take deep breaths unless smoking so when they quit they often forget to breathe (deep). It's amazing how refreshing a few deep breaths can be.

so happy to see you back and being properly appreciated, yay Mick! And the no smoking, you can do this L.A.!! I like what alison said, take a deep breath, and do a 360... lol! Also, get yourself some really good bubble solution, not Dollar Store bubbles, they are crap, but go to Kmart and get Gazillions or some name brand real bubbles... and take bubble breaks a couple times a day, very few things in this life more beautiful than soap bubbles...

So glad you are kicking pneumonia's butt. I know it took a long time but it sounds like you are getting better. I agree with you re: politics, can't Congress just do the right thing one time? I watched 60 Minutes this week and it all made so much sense. Let teachers teach their passion with out making test scores the main thing. Teach the basics of reading, writing and arithmatic again. Also heard our Ex Indiana Governmir speak bout how disheartening it was to try to do anything in politics these days..which is one reason he left. As for Mick, I understand that too. I didn't think much about my own health until I started having dizzy spells yesterday. My husband is very worried. I personally think it is just a sinus thing, maybe some dehydration and sitting in front of this computer writing a book in just 12 days.
