It's wonderful that you're feeling better and that you're already seeing positives. I know that it's hard for you to allow yourself your pain. In the past, complaining about anything, even truly terrible things, meant that you would only be mocked for your weakness. That is no more. Well...there will always be jerks in the world, but you've done a great job of preserving the relationships that nourish you and eradicating the ones that hurt you. So don't be afraid to use that resource when you need it!

Yay for you! Congratulations on making a very important and difficult decision and hanging in there while it is still tough. I'm working on eating better and have lost 18 lbs since June. I'm determined to keep it up and look forward to a new "ME" in 2015 too.

You're doing great!! Do you have a goal and periodic rewards set up to celebrate yourself? Me, I bought a puppy my first soberversary, saw Bon Jovi my second year, bought another puppy my third year, saw Bon Jovi my fourth year, went to Florida with a friend my fifth year... looking forward to year six!! Happy to have a healthier BOTH of us, many many more years!
