Tell me all about it, dear...

I'm so glad to hear from you! The peanut gallery can go to hell. Yeah, there is nothing worse than seeing growing evidence that a loved one is starting to lose it. Poor Mick. I hope he finds a healthy way to cope, otherwise this is going to be a long, long road. Wow, congratulations to Wolf for learning his first lesson in handling a knife, and to both of you for handling it so well. If I had done something like that at his age, it would have thrown me into a full-blown existential crisis, complete with wondering whether or not someone who can't use a knife properly even deserves to keep on living. Lately, I've been careless in the kitchen. I've been sticking my hands in boiling water, grabbing things straight out of the oven sans oven mitt and stabbing myself with knives. The weird thing? Ever since I became a healer, I haven't gotten burned or cut from any of these things. I know I'm probably jinxing myself by mentioning it. It's likely another strange phase.

"The Lymes." That kills me. My grandmother used to say "The IBM." It drove me nuts back then, but I'd give anything to hear her say it again.
