Tell me all about it, dear...

Sounds like you are on a mission and it's good. I, too, have to pull myself out of the weeds and get a life. In about 2 weeks, husband & I will find out what our next few months may be and then I might be able to think outside the box that I have kept myself in....

Hey! I'm sorry that I haven't been commenting much, I have been very introverted, lately. For some reason, I tend to be attracted to a lot of water types. While studying Japanese today, I learned that the day I was born (Tuesday) is fire day, making me a Leo and a fire dragon, who was born on the fire day of the week. Maybe that's why I'm constantly seeking out water people.

Hey, I posted that Smiths song on my FB wall yesterday! We're definitely on a similar wavelength. I'm making an effort to find my way back to myself, too. Can't afford to do the Broadway thing as frequently as I used to, But I went to a play at Vassar College's Powerhouse Theater yesterday, and just got back from seeing "They're Playing Our Song" at the Playhouse in Sharon, CT. It's not easy - I really have to push myself to do things that I've always enjoyed so much. I've become far too comfortable isolating myself. I know I need a balance of solitude and social interaction, and I really am working on it. I'm glad to hear that you are, too, and hope you enjoyed the lecture and met some interesting people.

How wonderful to reclaim your life after so many years. It's a litany I've heard (and lived) for most of us of a certain age. We've raised our children, and often our spouses, and now we have another chance to come out and play. Bravo!
