Tell me all about it, dear...

Sorry, the YouTube won't load. It's the transformation scene in 'American Werewolf in London'. ~LA

Thanks for mentioning Jiro Dreams of Sushi. I've been meaning to watch that, but kept forgetting. Now it's all queued up on Netflix, just waiting for me to hit "play."

It's so great to lose that monthly visitor!

My last period was the first weekend in October. My periods were always fairly well-behaved, though, so I'm a little mixed up about this transition. What I'm NOT mixed up about is what a drag it is to be hot flashin' in this damn Georgia summer heat!! Sushi. Yum. Always, and raw, too.

Don't be shocked if the red flag suddenly starts flying after several months of being out of sight. I had a few surprises along the way.... Glad you had a good weekend....

Unless your spicy tuna is particularly different from anywhere else you are already eating raw fish (please don't stop) so may I suggest Salmon, just because it is truly, truly sweet and delicious. Not sure if you should indulge at anything buffetish but if it a restaurant with an actual sushi bar you may want to give it a go. Eel is also nice (and happily for you, fully cooked). Try the dragon roll, shrimp or crab on the inside and eel on the outside. I'm 6 months younger than you and still no end in sight. A skip every now and then but nothing else even close to "the change". My husband says I am crankier around my time then ever before, sucks being him, but I don't notice it much. Good for you though, I'm not a crab in the bucket, happy to see someone getting out.
