Tell me all about it, dear...

Congratulations to Wolf - and to you. What a testament to love and patience. The ravings of your older child are reminiscent of my youngest. And neither of us killed the child who probably deserved it, so yay for us! Enjoy your lilacs and lilies of the valley. I love the scent of both and neither grows here. We have a nice green lawn and we do have a couple of flowering bushes that are coming back from the dead, but nothing with heavenly scents.

Yay Wolf!! I'm envious of your lilac scents - it's my favorite by far. And I'm totally with you on A/C - the summer and a half that we spent without it were absolute torture.

What wonderful news about the award that Wolf will be receiving. It's always such a joy when our children ~ no matter what age ~ do well. Our son was recently given a Lifesaver Award by the City because he talked to a young woman who was trying to commit suicide and used his own GPS to locate her......of course the City didn't tell him ahead of time about the award so we didn't get to see him receive it. And thank you for the special mention at the beginning of your blog today. It made me smile to see your words and lovely thoughts.

We used to have humongous lilacs in the neighbor's yard next to ours but when she moved in, she cut them ALL DOWN! Luckily, I have two large viburnum trees in the back yard which, right now, are perfuming up the whole house! Happy Mother's Day to you!
