Tell me all about it, dear...

If you were within reach, the beer and hug would be yours immediately. Promise.

There's nothing wrong with venting your frustrations, occasionally. At first, I couldn't quite understand why you would be offended by something that is obviously well-intended. Then I thought, "How would I feel if there were a schizophrenia awareness month?" Uuuggh!! I can see why this is a crappy month, for you.

Man! If somebody starts plunking down Mental Health crap in my office, I'll go over the top! For now, I'm okay with Glenn Close sending me emails for mental health awareness. But if she starts dropping in at my office, I'm gonna have an issue! When I confessed to one of my coworkers that I'd removed the breast caner walk flyers from one of the staff lounges, she said, "I thought you put it there." Jesus! I hope everyone doesn't think that! Blame it on the boobless one!

Beers and hugs on me, LA, you surely deserve them and much MUCH more. More even than big trash day (though that does sound absolutely grand!). XOXOXOX my friend.

Funny thing is, I know people with autism who also hate that organization - they say it doesn't speak for them, doesn't listen to what they actually have to say. And yes, mental illness can be hardest of all on the ones who do the care taking.

We lost bulk pick up many years ago, as you would be able to tell by the state of my basement. :/

I can understand your feelings....You are so right, the caretakers, the spouses and parents and grandparents who have to deal with all of these issues (no matter what the cause) deserve some recognition too. I expect for the ones who are freshly into the lifestyle of whatever the disease or issue need somewhere to go for information though. So THANK YOU to all the people who keep the daily lives going and do their best to be there when needed.

I agree with your feelings and your right to share them, that's what diaries are for. I have never seen the trolls that read your blog (until now) who feel like they have a right to spew vitriol on another person online. Obviously another person with a diseased emotional brain. No doubt the one driving around with the loudspeaker. Geez
