Tell me all about it, dear...

Tomorrow is my first full day at home in several days, too, but I'll be prepping for Friday's colonoscopy. :(

Heh. I get lots of time at home this week and next. To watch the guy replacing the toilet tank yesterday the guys tearing up flooring today, the guys replacing the drywall next wee, the guys putting the flooring back in, and the touch-up guy. Oh, and the guy addressing yet another issue with the new furniture (we had two chairs replaced immediately, due to wormholes and dings, and had a glass sideboard door fixed. Now it's a bookshelf that likes to shed its locknuts, that we can't seem to fix ourselves).

Chigley is a railway town - the streets in the older part of town are in neat rows, all the same, with a slightly bigger one at the end of a row which belonged to the supervisor. This is from google maps so I hope it works: https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Doncaster+Road,+Eastleigh&hl=en&ll=50.958873,-1.357112&spn=0.007907,0.013797&sll=50.9629,-1.352735&sspn=0.007906,0.013797&oq=doncaster+road,+Eastleigh&hnear=Doncaster+Rd,+Eastleigh,+United+Kingdom&t=m&z=16&layer=c&cbll=50.959162,-1.357214&panoid=u6ACPZfZCYSdWlN8H0FBbA&cbp=12,15.47,,0,-20.86 If we're lucky, that should show a 'street view' of a long street of identical houses, built around 1900 or so. s x

I have a heart of ice except when it comes to my family (and even then at times. I have zero tolerance for self-inflicted illness like a hangover, no matter who it is). So you're in good company ;) On the other hand, I will rip the heart and other bodily parts from anyone who messes with my family, so there you go.

Sorry to be late with the expressions of sorrow for Mick's friend who lost his way and his life. It gets harder as I age to accept those deaths of dear ones. Hope cleaning out the office space gives you joy....nothing better than a new beginning. and thanks for the mention on FB on "where in the world is Terri?" I loved it!
