Tell me all about it, dear...

If CNN started broadcasting things like "Hi! 99.999% of the world had a pretty decent day today! See you tomorrow," I'd start watching again! I'm glad you had such a lovely Valentine's Day. My favorite part is that Wolf gave Mick a card - I just love that! And I love you, Wolf, and Mick, too!

You're the second person to talk about that kind of bracelet this week. My coworker proudly showed me her bracelet yesterday and explained what some of the charms meant to her. Do I dare start the tradition??!! Happy post Valentine's day!

You feel happy and grateful, so there's no reason not to report on it truthfully. I'm so glad that things have come together, for you. When I saw that picture of Wolf that you posted last night, I suddenly flashed back to an entry you had written about him being a two year old terror and the day you had with him. I can't remember the details. I remember that there was a washing machine involved, and that you seriously cut your finger. I can't remember exactly when it was when I started reading here regularly, but he was far, far from being the young man that he is today. Happy belated Valentines Day, Sweetheart.

A perfectly lovely Valentine's Day and you deserved every bit of it... and thank you for sharing it with us.

I hate D-land comments - it ate my first attempt. Anyway I wanted to say that Tolstoy got it wrong - every happy family is happy in a different way. I'm really, really pleased that you and Mick have created traditions together that make you both so happy - but don't assume that all of those people who don't go big for V-Day are missing out (except of course the ones who say they are!) We've never been big on this one - for one thing, I hate crowded, noisy restaurants, and slow service just means I have to sit there and be bothered by the noise for longer. We don't do much for this holiday and never have - this year, he gave me a card and I tried two new recipes to make dinner a bit special (the chicken pot pie was unutterably bland, but the cheesecake-stuffed strawberries were a definite hit). Anyway, glad you had a happy day!
