Tell me all about it, dear...

Walmart must have had Shoprite envy yesterday. The deli crew (at least 4 people plus a manager) manage to ignore me for many minutes when I want something. So annoying. Then the cashier not only filled my shopping bags so full I could hardly lift them but also put the cold stuff in all 4 bags instead of in one.... and a car turned left in front of me as I was driving over 55 mph in a 3 lane row......with no where to go but to hope and pray my brakes would hold.... But YOU WIN ON THE MANY ANNOYANCES.

Small towns aren't immune to rudeness and stupidity. I will say I see a lot less of it where we live now, but it's still there. I'm glad you lived through the heart-stopping moments and are here to tell us about it!!!

I live int he burbs, it's a big burb, but still mostly non- exciting. However, 3 times recently I have had a green arrow to turn left and the car across from me decides, while talking either on their cell phones or to a passenger, that they should just drive forward straight at me even though they still have a red light. And my giving the universal raised-arms-open-hands-WTF?! symbol did not compute and even though they looked at me, eventually, they kept driving forward through the red light, through the 6 lane intersection. There are never cops around when you want them. And one time I was in the checkout line at Target behind one of the ladies who will wait until the whole order is tallied up to take out her checkbook etc. Then as I was heading to my car pushing my cart the same lady is sitting in her car as I pass behind it and she starts to back out, stops and then starts again before I had made it passed causing me to have to yell HEY! as I did not have a free hand to thump her trunk. She almost seemed like she was on drugs, but it could also have been menopause so I cut her a little slack, been there, done that.
