Tell me all about it, dear...

I'll never understand why it's so hard for some people to simply be decent...On a happier note - hurray for a birthday gift that includes Eddie Izzard!

I used to work with someone whose parents retired to Nova Scotia. She said they get very little snow there. Wouldn't have guessed that one.

The weather is great in Florida for sure but sometimes having sunshine and humidity isn't all it's cracked up to be. I still like to have 4 seasons ~ and winter holidays are just not the same without some cold and snow....

Happy day o'sunshine to ya my dear La ! It's always a pleasure to drop in and get up to speed on the daily doings of your life and to read wonderfully intelligent prose from your gifted mind. Like you, I too enjoy living in a nice cool-to-chilly environment despite being located in Arizona with our rotten boiling hot Summers from Hell...Thank god for air conditioning set at 65 degrees, a swimming pool that NEVER gets warm because it''s made out of fiberglass and keeping the bedroom window wide open during the Winter months for perfect sleeping weather including the fan blowing on me all night. I do hope that you enjoy your birthday gift of Eddie Izzard in all his marvelous glory. I just watched 3 of his 'live' videos and he always puts a smile on my face with his wicked sense of the absurd. Merry Christmas to everyone in your household my dear and I look forward to my continued visits here at your lovely blog for yet another year making it I believe 10 years now that I have been reading your words of wisdom and humor ! Not bad, not bad at all. Thank you sweetie for sharing your life with all of us so openly.
