Tell me all about it, dear...

Just yesterday, my cousin and I were talking about how, no matter what we don't have and how much we might have suffered throughout our lives (and we both have), we are still so much better off than so many others. As for being adrift on that caustic sea of seething loathing and fear, I'm feeling mighty seasick.

Right on re the stinginess, unfathomable and unforgivable. Untrue on the negatives re you, please try to think away from such things. You are not what others have told you that you are, or that you should be, or that you should avoid at all cost. You are what you are and what you are is fabulous and generous and brilliant and talented and beautiful and witty and charming and accomplished and complicated and the list goes on and on. That is what you ARE. And I'm pretty sure that is what matters.

I'm so thankful for what I have and that I worked hard to get to where I am. It's very satisfying to find joy in the simple pleasures of life...and to know that I have them.

And you are?
