Tell me all about it, dear...

I was just telling my mother about Ben Franklin's wig! And don't forget about Thomas Jefferson's HUGE...err..."pony tail." ;-) Gunga Din! That's too funny - I didn't even notice him! I can't wait for the Twittering Biddies to hit NYC together! And yes, my dearest friend, you do offer me a safe house. You are the only person in the world I can say ANYTHING to, and I never worry about being judged or deemed lacking. I love you, LA!!!

I'll agree with you about the scenic beauty of the Catskills and the Hudson River area. Back in my younger days, I thought that I wanted to settle down and live somewhere around Kingston. However, despite the scenic beauty that still remains in some of that area, I know that I could never return. Kingston has become a dump surrounded by second rate generic malls -- and I do not understand why my brother and his family stay in Ulster County. I have come to love the "South County" area of Rhode Island and could happily stay here for the rest of my life -- if not for the thoroughly corrupt and astoundingly incompetent state government that is slowly killing off the remains of the state's economy.

You should come on out to Tombstone, it's only 104 degrees here! Actually, You would probably love the Seattle area, or Taos. Though at one time I had thoughts of settling in the house on the old Borden Estate, near Mohonk though I am glad that I didn't, I couldn't handle the ice storms! And I am deffo one of the Twittering Biddies, I can wipe off a face with spit on a kleenex as well as anyone out there!

I'm so glad you have found another bird of a feather. I have often thought about where I would live if I could....I do like the 4 seasons of the year and if I don't have to go out in a snowstorm or in extreme heat; it's good for me. I guess I still like my little town in Indiana in spite of some of its quirks....
