Tell me all about it, dear...

*HUG* I think you're great.

I am so sad and have been for a while now. I never bought into the "anyone can be president" crap but I did believe that if you worked hard you could have a reasonable life. Not any more I am afraid of what my son will face, just like you. Sometimes I think I should have stuck with the "not having kids" life but the selfish in me takes over and I can't imagine my life without my little boy. How far, do you think, will the pendulum swing?

I feel really sad, too. It's so disheartening to have to face the ugly truth and stop believing that good will triumph over evil. :(

so true. the american way has been bought, packaged and sold out for awhile. there is an interesting save-the-world movie called "thrive" on the internet, with some obvious instructions on what-to-do-next, much which we already know but it may be worth a look.

It is sad to have to open my eyes and see the real picture. I wanted to stay optimistic, I wanted to believe that hard work, paying your bills on time and saving money really mattered...but more and more each day; it seems that the bad guys take it all and the good ones have to pay for it....

And here I was just thinking how wonderful it is to NOT be stuck in the 19th century, and to have water and food which won't kill me! Not to mention the fact that I am free to express my opinion freely and not get stood against a wall for doing so. No, this world isn't perfect, but just remember, that those who are fat, old, white guys nowadays, will be reincarnated into the world they are bringing forth. Nobody lives forever, and the same people who are outlawing abortion for everyone, might get born again as the child of a poor, not-white, non-privileged mom who couldn't get an abortion because of the laws that were passed by them, or they may be born as non-Americans, in some third world country, trying to get here to live their dream.

And you are?
