Tell me all about it, dear...

Cant offer a good day (though it sure sounds like you need one!), would a (((cyber hug))) be a good enough start? s x

Just had a thought - if your (newish) appliances keep conking out unexpectedly, could it be a fault with the electrics in the house and not the appliances themselves? Might be worth checking that out - maybe a wonky bit of wiring or an over-enthusiastic circuit breaker? s x

I hope you get a good day, at LEAST.

I felt physically sick as I was reading this entry because it was so painfully familiar. If it's any consolation, I'm living proof that it can get better - not necessarily good, but quite a bit better. Love you!

Yes...it sucks. You do deserve better. I've noticed just when one thing goes wrong....it's like a virus and everything goes wonky. I think having the electric checked in the house is a good idea...and maybe you need to find those tarot cards and give yourself a reading? How about smudging the house too?

Ugh. I have been there! I hope things turn around soon or at least Mr. Barky finds a new hobby before you lose your mind. Thank you for the encouraging comment the other day. I've been too busy to respond and then DL was down. I know you're not chiding me and that you want the best for me. That's why you're my friend! Lots of love and light to you.

:*Hugs*: I wish there were a way to send you a nice paid vacation to Tahiti for you, Mick and Wolf, along with a few million bucks to retire not only yourself but all those bills. Agreeing with other folks on getting the house's electrical systems checked. All the little annoyances aren't so little if they tie into a house fire!!

Yeah, that's the thing about being bi-racial. Your hair, skin, coloring, etc., could be any number of combinations of things. I don't have too much trouble getting a cut that works, it's more that it grows out so fast. I would go insane if I couldn't tie my hair back, so I always tell them that my only requirement is that I am still able to pull it back. Heh. You're kidding about your friend! I've gotten a lot of weird guesses, too, but totally different ones, since I'm pale. A lot of the time, people will stare at me, confused, and then ask, "Where are you from?" I always deadpan, "California." Adam swears up and down that from the first moment he saw me, not only did he know that I was half-Asian and half-White, but that my Asian half was Japanese. He says, "The cheekbones and pale skin gave it away." Of course, I always tease him that he only knows this stuff because he has an Asian woman fetish.

And you are?
