Tell me all about it, dear...

"String theory, string cheese, and string bikinis" What a great line!

So glad you're ok after taking a hit from a light fixture! I'm happy to hear things are smooth sailing, too!

I love reading about those moments of joy the 3 of you have together. And I have to agree with Jim..."string theory, string cheese and string bikinis" is one of your best.

So, what did you think about the final scene? I thought they stole a lot of things quite heavily from other movie, Like the horse in the bog. I kept waiting for the rodents of unusual size to make an appearance in the fireswamp. At least it was appropriate for the fairies to be sparkling! And no, you are quite correct the mouth breather cannot act.

You bring up an interesting point because I DO believe that the secret to success is hard work, as you know. However, what I said wasn't meant to be a commentary on Nadia's training nor Mary Lou's talent. I have no idea how much either of them trained, but since they were both Olympians, my guess is: A hell of a lot. The same goes for EG and JE, except that since I could probably qualify as an EG stalker, I happen to know that the woman worked her ass off before she struck gold.

Also, I can't help but add this: I've often been told that I make things look easy, or sometimes people skip the "look" part and go straight to assuming that it IS easier for me. While I consider making things look easy to be part of the job (any job that I'm doing at the moment), I don't want people to make assumptions about how much or how little effort that I put in. I think that's a disservice to them AND me. I am usually very quick to talk about the work because I believe that hard work is an often overlooked ingredient in success.

On those weekends when my neighbor is doing construction work (which is almost every weekend), the powertools are screeching from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. I don't know how much more I can take...

And you are?
