Best bargain ever! Robin's senior prom dress at Woodbury's Betsey Johnson outlet, 13 years ago: $900+ marked down to $119. Fit like a glove, too, didnt even need a hem.

You know Lands End has sheets like that, right? Pricey, but heaven to sleep on.

Bravo for teaching your guys. My kids all cook. Even my wife can cook some dishes. LOL. --- I moved to Monticello in 1968 and then to Binghamton in 1970 (and then to Rhode Island in the fall of 1995) and I cannot even guess where this uber mall you mention might be located. I think I would need my GPS to find my way around.

Google "400 threadcount cotton sheets" I got 600 TC waterbed sheets online... wonderful & they've lasted for years!

What a wonderful idea! These lessons will serve them, well, especially Wolf (and his future mate). By the way, I love you, too, Sweetie.

You are a wise woman....never hurts for the menfolk to have some idea of how to cook something...and they will be more appreciative of your cooking skills too. Wonderful bargains you got.....way to go.

If you're looking for decent cotton sheets, I had my best luck at Target in their supersoft collection. I was sick to death of "microfiber" and "sateen" crap that you put a finger through the first time you used them. The ones at Target were I think 300 TC but they're real cotton and really comfortable. Bonus points because they actually stay on the bed!!

Lord I wish I had time and inspiration to blog .. BUT .. I can understand another gadget ho' and wish you luck with the lessons. I started using another browser and have missed my old bookmarks. I'll be reading again. BTW Fred & I came squeaky close to dropping by barely announced on the way back from Ohio/Pennsylvania last week. I miss dropping in on you and we aren't going to Mountain Jam this year :(

On the sheet thing, I second poundheadhere: have you tried Target? I've had good luck with them in the past for reasonably priced high-threadcount sheets. Their website reveals Egyptian cotton sheets in 450 and 600-count, and they do have white. My husband does his fair share of cooking and other household chores, and I do mean fair share, not "he helps when I ask". I am very, very thankful to my in-laws for this.
