Tell me all about it, dear...

You told the truth. We have all made nasty unthinking remarks about people we know and I would hope we all have felt shame for doing so. That being said; it is never too late to say I'm sorry and mean it. I wrote something on FB along these lines just a few days ago after reading a very snarky post about someone I know. Whether or not we believe that what a friend chooses to do with their life is wrong is one thing but to kick them in FB public and let the rest of the FB world know about it is wrong in my opinion. I hope we ALL think before we speak/write about anyone else, any group that is different than us or any major celebrity or political figure. They put up with a lot of "hate" from the media and I can't imagine it is easy to take.
