Tell me all about it, dear...

My dear-hearted husband won't offer any suggestions on what he'd like for dinner, so I get stuff I want, and then when I tell him he can have X or Y for dinner, I get the "meh". Whatever. And then when there is something he likes, he'll eat it for a while, and then suddenly (and usually about 4 hours after I've gone grocery shopping) will decide he doesn't like it any more. Arrrgh... Ah well. At least dinner for the dogs is easy! ;-)

How funny. I could have written at least half of that entry including the baby. I, like you, wonder what the heck demented part of my brain that stuff comes from.

After reading Dr. Liz's comment, I am more and more sure that most men must have all been from the same family....I know what my husband will eat...and sometimes I try to throw in something different and he will decide he likes it....than I buy something that he had loved for over 47 years and he decided he doesn't like THAT anymore....so when I don't buy THAT for several months, suddenly he needs THAT right now and why don't we have it in the refrigerator or in the pantry? Ha! I understand about the Mother's Day dinner. When my MIL was still alive, all the DILS had to spend Mother's Dayy with her because her sons wanted us to.....it wasn't until she passed away that each of the DIL's got their own Mother's Day....
