Tell me all about it, dear...

Ok, I obviously need to buy a pack of clothespins now. I haven't had any in ages, and I forgot how useful they are. It's wonderful watching you grow into yourself. I don't know what else to say, except *BIG SQUEEZY HUG*

I hear you on the "drawing inward and letting go of outside influence and judgment" thing, and being free of "perceived societal expectation, as well. In addition, I've been making every attempt to take that a step further and also let go of imposing judgments and/or expectations on others. Whats good for me is not necessarily good for someone else, and I dont have the right to suggest otherwise. Live and let live feels pretty darn liberating. Other than that, this aging business pretty much sucks. :-/

Some days when I walk into the ladies room at work and catch a glimpse of myself in those huge mirrors under those horrible lights I think I look pretty good. Other days, I see the fat and the jiggles and the wobbles. I agree with Stephanie that aging sucks but I'm just glad I'm still here.:-)

Hehe. You know, anytime anyone makes the effort to accomodate us, it's always appreciated. The easiest thing to do is find a recipe that's naturally vegan. I know that for you guys, that'd be really difficult, since beans and tofu are out. There is also the option of taking a dish that normally has meat and substituting a fake meat (this is usually how vegans/vegetarians start out). This works best using ground or shredded fake meat in a sauce. Of course, there's always Italian sans cheese. One of our favorites is veggie pizza with no cheese.

Your oldest son would be dissatisfied if you'd given your life for him, unfortunately. Some kids are just like that, and there's nothing you can do to change the fact. Thank God you have Wolf in your life to help bring your share of things back into balance - and a lovely hubby, too!

And you are?
