This is so good and I can very much relate. At the same time, it just sucks that you have to go through it at all. For me, the epiphany came when my ex went out and did what he does to a Second family, to a lady who is just my polar opposite. It didn't much matter that I was a naive and irresponsible punk kid. The same catastrophe befell a grown, together, churchgoing school teacher. It is horrible that it happened to her also, but the only common denominator we shared was the same man. Then I decided I wasn't the life ruiner either. Kudos to you, LA.
