Tell me all about it, dear...

Happy Anniversary! I'm glad you've finally had a moment to breathe and I'm looking forward to you posting regularly, again.

I have never been able to adapt to a laptop either. I love my desktop. Also, there is a NYS Do Not Call list. Look it up online and get your landline phone number on it! It saves a lot of headache with misc. calls. :)

(1) Happy anniversary! (2) Good luck with that Do-not-call thing -- it works just as well as you might expect for a government thing -- I was on it from the beginning and I renewed, etc. I get multiple telemarketing calls every day. Oh, and in addition, the do-not-call-list by explicit design does NOT apply to any company you have ever had business relationship with, any charity doing fund-raising, and any political organization. As you have already figured out, an answering machine with fast pick-up is the best defense.

Happy anniversary! Hope all goes well with the desktop repair. I had to use Leigh's laptop for a few days after my desktop crashed, and it was very awkward and frustrating.

I hope the glow of being an adult still lingers. Sounds like many things were marked off the "to do" list and yet...you still had "fun".

Happy Anniversary to you and Mick darling lady ! I too remember when Mick first entered the picture 5 years ago and you gave us a peek into this new and positive person in your life after so many years of the drudge match. And now you are married to this lovely man with 5 fast year under your belts! Wow. That also means that I have been stopping in here for an electronic cup of coffee and gossip for going on 9 years now myself. You and TranceJen are my longest ever Internet Loves and I thank you for letting me be a *small* part of your life from afar sweetie. Nine years...Pretty damned cool. Side note: I FINALLY got my Social Security Disabilty approved after battling them for 3 years and 2 sets of lawyers - so nice to have an income again and know that I am safe for at least 7 years of coverage. Enjoy your renewed vigor and zest for the new days ahead and know that I will probably be here again tomorrow for a few moments of looking in on you and hoping that you are happy and well in your life. You deserve it ! - John in Tucson

Happy anniversary to you both. It's awesome when the kids are away, isn't it? I love my kids but on the rare occasions G and I have the place to ourselves it is sheer bliss
