I'm all about the black myself. You can buy the cheapest thing on the rack and if it's black, it doesn't look it. I guess you and I are just hard wired NYers. heh.

I too have problems with long term projects. When my husband & I got married, I had everything planned and purchased and picked out by two months because I knew I'd get bored and be picking a white dress off the rack at Target the day before if I didn't get it done early. I prefer to think of that trait as setting things up for others - of course you were able to finish the project wonderfully, I started it for you ;)

I dont really do dogs but I heard that they only have one master (the 'head of the pack', if you like) and everyone else is 'just a dog', like them. Maybe Princess made up her own mind who she needs to take orders from and who is...ummm... her 'equal'? Like I say, Im no expert (not by a long chalk) but it does seem perfectly feasible! s x

It's not surprising to me that people came from all over to your mall. So far, I haven't found anywhere else where you can get the decent quality / price ratio that's available in the US. You can buy designer anywhere, but what you can't find is Gap jeans or Eddie Bauer t-shirts: pretty good quality at a reasonable price. My choices in other countries are mostly 1) crap at cheap prices; 2) quality gear at exorbitan prices or 3) crap at exorbitant prices. Three caveats, only: handmade stuff is great anywhere and can often be things you can't find in the US; it's easier to find actual wool in the Netherlands than the US; nd I admit, most of the stuff in te US fits the aforementioned three categories too. But at least it's *possible* to get quality at reasonable prices.

And you are?
