Tell me all about it, dear...

I'm so excited for Wolf about the Homecoming Dance, and for you for sticking up for yourself. Hurray for both of you!

It's possible the girl Wolf asked isn't allowed to "date", so meeting there is the next best thing. Good luck to him, and hang in there. This too shall pass.

Congrats to Wolf for having the nerve to ask a girl out...that's a big deal! As for the Mick and LA show.....he could be going through his own middle age crisis right about now. Remember, he knows what his mother did and how she has treated you when you were deeply upset and hurt. She's still his mother and probably trying to get him on her side to make herself feel better... That doesn't mean that he has the right to bully you into feeling inadequate and unimportant. But....I've been married 46 years and my husband still has his own hissy fits from time to time and hurts my feelings. Just remember you are important and worthy and try not to let his bad mood spoil yours.

I love that every time you hit a low, you start taking care of yourself a little bit faster than you did the last time. I think that's wonderful. *HUG* Hang in here, Sweetie.

Wolf is certainly growing up. Proud times for you - and for him. Blessings as you wade through the miasma of the latest Mick adventures.

I wondered why you locked a while ago. I hope things are gradually getting better. I'm so sorry you're dealing with Mt. Mick and his sizable attitude. Nobody deserves that

Peri to full blown Menopause to me was not long, and I just remember extra fuzziness, and, early on, crying in the middle of the kitchen for no apparent reason. Now on the other side, I can tell you it's great. No more ups and downs or anxiety, much more clarity and calm. Something to look forward to. I too have lived the last 32 or more years in maleness. Two bio sons, one stepson with two sons of his own and a husband. I made the powder room in this house pink thinking it would shy them away from messing it up, but it doesn't. They are a different breed, but are much simpler and up front than women. After all these years we don't sweat the usual blowups on annoyances. After a while you both know it's OK and move on. We actually do better with the highs and lows than the day to day hum drum. That's when we get on each other's nerves. But it's good to know that when we really need each other, we will be there.

I will not give Wolf long before the girls are going to be all over him, he is so beautiful inside and out! :) 'PMS hors d'oeuvres' is hilarious! I like fritos dipped in vanilla ice cream, yummay! I hope you and Mick sail through the rough waters and find a really good place together. :) xo
