You are so cute and adorable and your hairdo is awesome. You just aren't in your 50's, I would have to argue about that. Maybe 40 something. Feel better, take care!! =^..^=

Laptop + mouse works for me. One of the laptops I use (for work) sits in a docking station and I use a USB mouse and a keyboard and a 19 inch flat panel -- it's just like a real computer... LOL... You mentioned using Word Pad instead of Word -- I assume this is because you had Word on your desktop but not on your laptop and you don't want to pay Microsoft for another copy. You can get most software at student/educator discount prices at places like academicsuperstore.com -- you could have Mick (school employee) or Wolf (student) order a student copy of word for a pretty good discounted price. --- Or, you could try a free word processor like IBM Lotus Symphony -- which gives you a word processor plus a graphics program and a spreadsheet, just like Bill Gates' toys) It isn't Word, but it is free. When I bought a factory refurbished laptop a few months ago (yeah, I'm cheap -- or frugal -- or something) I needed a word processor, and since I like free, I downloaded Symphony and since I was using it on my laptop I figured it made sense to have it on my desktop and downloaded it for there as well. It's not Word -- but it is a good wordprocessor and it has spell check and word count and such -- and it is free. I was going to paste a URL in here but it is kind of long so just go to Google (or whatever) and do a search on IBM Lotus Symphony.

First - I recommend Open Office, free Microsoft compatible office suite. Second - Dayum woman! I don't know if its the hair or what, but you don't look way younger than 50ish in that pic.

I recommend Open Office too - it's a little different from Word, but it's not hard to learn and use. I continue to think your hair is adorable.
