we women are held responsible for the way our children and our husbands look. that right there should tell you something - men are idiots that can't take care of themselves properly :)

Personally, when I see a couple, and if either one is a mess (in any sense of the word), I usually wonder how the partner can stand it. Although, I did have a conversation with Adam once about how when he goes out in the world, he's no longer Adam-the-cool-individual, he's now Adam-Amy's-representative. That made him think a lot about how he presents himself. I'm so sorry about the lack of appetite. A lot of stressful stuff has happened within the last few months, even the good stuff, like Wolf starting regular high school, is a pretty stressful stuff. Even if it is hormonal, the stress can't be helping.

I agree with Amy, if a woman is with a drunk or jerk, I wonder how she can stand him. I know it isn't her fault, having been there once myself. As for the weighing in at the door? You have the right to refuse, and if my weight was broadcast to the office and waiting room, I would for sure refuse. It's within your patient rights. (There is a bill of rights for patients, and I'd bet they have one in that office...)

WEighing anyone in a public way does seem to be beyond rude..... And about the husband's appearance...yes, I agree. Sometimes I listen to him and wonder what people think of my as a result of his remarks....lol Same goes for the house...if it is a mess, we all blame the wife, don't we?
