Tell me all about it, dear...

Well....that all sounds very strong and determined to succeed. or it is fake until you make it? I, too, am so tired of being Party Central. This year...no holidays will be celebrated by family gatherings and big meals since we will be in a little RV in Florida for the season. Don't know how I will feel about it...Relieved, I am sure, to not have all the cleaning before and after and cooking and preparing and planning to make it a perfect day for everyone else (and truth be told, I never really enjoy it because I am too worried about the amount of food, the taste, the gifts and the housekeeping.) So, it will be different. Hope you find your joy; even if it is tea and toast for one.

There's no arguing that Wolf has made great strides in the past few years. The same goes for you, too. You spend A LOT less time hitting yourself over the head with the "I'm not good enough" stick, these days. It's wonderful to see you giving yourself a break. I hope it's a trend that continues.

Anna's right, of course, you are a total star and now you are also my role model. I feel a few orphaned holiday dinners on the horizon. I mean, I'm not the only person in the extended family with a kitchen and, like you, I love Chinese food any time. And I love you. XOXOXO ps. I'm so proud of and happy for Wolf--what a wonderful boy he is--what wonderful boys we have!

Wolf is a "bright young man with a fantastic heart and nothing but kindness and love in his mouth" mostly because of the love and patience with which his mother raised and taught him. He could never have done it without you!

Being vegetarian since 1975 has pretty much guaranteed that nobody ever wants to have parties at my house. Hidden benefit all these years. Saving animals and my sanity at the same time. Hope you enjoy the quiet.
