Tell me all about it, dear...

"I was sure that weird guy out back was Lurvy." Ha ha! That made me laugh out loud at work!

I'm glad that you talked about what happened to you. Keeping that locked up inside must have been awful. Even if Mick is feeling down and confused, right now, I hope that he's also proud of himself for standing by you. He's a good man. *HUG* I really love it when we have long, warm fall. On a warm day after Labor Day is a great time to visit the shore.

I have the whole picture now so I do understand re: MIL. Yes, now she is playing like the victim because she realizes she cut off her nose to spite her face....She is still Mick's mom and I am sure he respects her for that but this other behavior isn't nice...not at all.

I cannot understand MIL's attitude. I feel very badly for you, LA. Nobody deserves to be brutalized. This is for you. I hope it helps. http://youtu.be/MiUqqWOXPEs

I still think you should be straight with MIL and tell her how her actions make you feel. That way she can't claim she didn't know. Tell her, and put the situation in her hands.

I don't have a problem with spiders either, unless I unknowingly walk into a web, especially in the dark. If I have to take the trash out at night I swing the bag around in front of me because this is a very dangerous time of year for night time spider macrame.

The Lurvy comment made me laugh too, and the only spiders I take issue with are the wolf spiders. Those things are huge, and if I can catch it, it goes out. Anything as big as a mouse needs to *stay* outside. I'm sure MIL knows why you've distanced yourself, and if she ever gets the courage to address it head-on with you, maybe things will get better. Otherwise, you get to keep your sales skills well oiled. ;)

And you are?
