Shopping for a school skirt reduced me AND Jooj to tears! She has a tiny waist but is bootilicious butt-wise and nothing fits her. They have to wear uniform at her school (most do over here) but there was just NOTHING appropriate: elastic waist granny skirts down to mid-calf or tiny pleated lolita knicker-shows. *weeeeep* Doesnt make it any easier that Treacle is Miss Off-The-Peg - pick it up, put it on, it fits, take it off. In and out in five mins flat. Poor Jooj. I have school-shopping envy. s x

I am so glad that Wolf insists on pants the fit! I did not want to feature him on Pull Up Your Goddamn Pants. (As if I would have the opportunity... but you get my drift!)

I am not involved in the clothes shopping anymore, other than transferring funds into my sons debit card account, which is fine with me. He didn't even want me to do that and insisted on buying his own Vans this year. He did come with me for the buying of many of the larger dorm necessities. I had him pick out the comforter set etc and other items at Walmart and Target so he couldn't say he didn't like them and I got the more mundane things myself over the summer. They need so much! But he didn't really care too much, except for the clothes. Those, obviously, they have to want or they will hang forever in the closet with tags still on. So off he went to Kohl's to buy HIS skinny jeans (almost the same profile as Wolf small waist, long legs at 6'1") He never did buy more t-shirts but he lives in band shirts from concerts he has attended, hard to pick those up at the last minute. We cleared out his closet as he was packing and ended up with 4 grocery bags full of shirts he either has never worn, or will never wear again, to donate. So he's gone for a while and I am missing his usual 4 pairs of shoes at the front door. :(

A hoodie with built-in headphones - very cool!

Yay for good bargains on clothes! Kohl's is the bomb for bargains! I'm glad that he likes pants that fit.. they won't accidentally fall down then, either! That would really be embarrassing!

He does sound like he knows what he wants in clothes...Never can go wrong with a hoodie, especially with earbuds attached. I'm sure he will be a cool addition to the high school crowd. Hope he enjoys it.....

Oh, Wolf. I feel for him and envy him at the same time. I remember all those fears, but I miss being able to get a fresh start every fall, too. I hope he has a fantastic high school experience.
