Tell me all about it, dear...

I will always pray for the return of your prodigal son, knowing as I do from experience what a hole it leaves in your heart, to have a child turn away. Anyway, I hope Wolf as a safe and timely return. xxx

I'm sure you will sleep much better tonight knowing that Wolf is once again safe in your home. Sorry that the other one can't see past his bad attitude. I'm sure dinner will be a real treat.

Yours is coming home after a week, while I am a week away from having mine leave for his first semester of college. He is maddeningly unconcerned while I am trying to anticipate any little thing he might still need or he/we may have forgotten to do. And then it gets quiet at MY house. Have a great reunion with your young man!

I hear you on the "what do I do now" of having your kid gone for a bit. A. Went off on a survival adventure in May and was gone for a week. I enjoyed the uncluttered and tidy house but missed my best girl so much. Hug that beautiful son of yours and enjoy while it lasts and don't forget to come over for some down time before this month melts away.

When Rebecca spent a week at Clarkson University for their middle school math/science scholars program, no phone contact was allowed (except in case of an emergency, of course). Not knowing how she was getting along so far from home was really hard on me. Turns out she had a blast, and I hope Wolf did, too!
