I agree, plastic surgery does go bad after a while. Collagen in the lips? makes the lips full, even after weight loss/sagging due to age, and looks ridiculous. In my short time here, I've seen lots of it! For me? Not ever.

I relate. Putting things back where they used to b would be lovely. But right now, I'd be content to have some of the poundage removed from the chestal area. I'm looking into lipo (and medical need). Lipo doesn't produce the best cosmetic result (i.e. doesn't make them perky) but makes them smaller, which is all I want at this point. (If only they could such out the under-the-chin saggage at the same time ...)

I've had saggy eyelids for years. I keep telling myself that it must be all my eyelashes that I am trying to see through but I have very few eyelashes to begin with. Wish the opthamologist would declare my saggy lids a health hazard so I could have a lift. And yes, the girls are drooped and it isn't pretty...or comfortable..and I'm tired of waking up with bruises because they got pinched during the night when I turned over. Yes to some plastic surgery for sure.

Thanks for the linkie! And I see your point. When Mia worked for the plastic surgeon, I saw so many miracles worked by that amazing doctor. Miracles that put people's lives back together. That was a good thing. YES!

I was going to joke about you saying you were "going to have to wear a sports bra" by saying something about swimming along the cte d'azur... but before I could even begin typing I thought about the fact that I was introduced to SUNY/Binghamton's Empire Lake and its clothing optional tradition as a grad student and spent the 1970s and the first few years of the 1980s there sans swim suit... But I am now quite a long way out of my thirties and must admit that I would now be quite hesitant about exposing my waistline and somewhat flabby and over-sized stomach to view. *sigh* Sic transit gloria nudatio (I was also a terrible Latin student in high school.)

Oh God, I can SO relate to this entry (except for the boobs part). I would LOVE to have some restoration magic done on the eyelids and jowls... Maybe we should have one of those Botox parties! ;-) P.S. You do NOT look like a pelican!

I hear you, LA! The whole under the chin thing - I would have that done in a minute!
