Tell me all about it, dear...

Glad I got caught up with you....love the shopping trip...I almost felt like shopping myself after reading about your "finds". I loved the shirt...so YOU with the initials and the hot pink color. I know you will be wearing that one for a very long time. The trip to Peru sounds like a wonderful adventure....I am sure you will enjoy his stories as much as if you were there too.

My friend just got back from Peru and I can't wait to meet her for dinner and hear all about it! And, as far as I can tell, it's always a good time to putter around and read blogs. Always.

I did think Midnight in Paris was kind of charming, but I didn't love it nearly as much as I expected to, based on the reviews, both in print and through word-of-mouth. For one thing, I was quite distracted by how Owen Wilson was turned into a slightly cuter version of Woody Allen.

I haven't seen the movie but I wanna join your nephew at Macchu Picchu. Paris isn't my idea of a breathtakingly beautiful city; Peruvian ruins are. If it makes you feel any better about familial nomenclature, my first hubby's second wife and I refer to each other as our "ex wife in law." And yes, we're friends long after the hubby in question passed away, back in 1995. When they had fights she'd call me to pick her up. They borrowed my car to drive to California when her sister was dying of Lupus. Never once did it occur to me to say no. I treated her kids like family, too, and still do.
