Tell me all about it, dear...

Wolf is so lucky to have you as his mom. So is Alex and I hope (big, huge, giant hope) that he will come to understand it soon. Love and hugs xxxxx

I bet Wolf will remember this concert for his entire life. I hope he has a wonderful time with his friend and his friend's father.

Soundgarden! I didn't even know they were still around! I hope Wolf has a blast. Concerts were a huge part of my life for a long time. In fact, I was probably at the Led Zep concert your mother wouldn't let you go to!

I'm sure he'll remember this! I certainly remember my first concert (also my first date! -- to see the Righteous Brothers), and SonnyeBoy remembers his - we took him to see Tears for Fears when he was 8!

Yes, you have absolutely made the right decision for Wolf. (Hey, and at least it isn't Gangsta Crap uh, I mean Rap.) School's out for summer so it's not like he is going to be falling asleep in class in the morning. Adam (my eldest) was 14 when I took him to see The Who in their 1982 "farewell" tour (Carrier Dome, Syracuse, Friday, Dec. 10th) -- a really good time for both of us. Maybe that made up for dumping him with my parents when I went to the Woodstock festival. (Of course he was not quite a year old at the time but he always complained that it would have been cool to be able to say he'd been at Woodstock.)

Hooray for Wolf! And as long as there's a parent there, no problem!

1985? (I think D-land may be screwing up a date you typed.)

Growing up in a hick town upstate from you, SPAC was my first concert venue (Saratoga) and, thankfully, my parents did not have to be involved in my getting there and back, especially as there was no bus service that far north except the Trailways that went straight down the Thruway and that was it. My Dad probably would have driven us had we asked, because he was that kind of guy. I'm glad you let Wolf go too. My youngest started attending local shows when he was 14-15 and it was a little scary at first, mostly because of their locations but, how can you deny them something that was so cool for us.

And you are?
