Tell me all about it, dear...

I think a huge muscle-y guy in a tutu is WAY scarier than one gussied up like a storm trooper. Oh, and a few months ago, Adam had the same exercise chafing issues and I suggested Monkey Butt powder to him, but he refused it, based on the name. He bought baby powder and forbid me to use the phrase "monkey butt" in reference to him, ever again.

I gotta find me some Monkey Butt powder. I don't ride bicycles and such, but in this heat it's nearly impossible not to get heat related rashes due to sweating in impossible parts of your anatomy. Thanks for the tip! Glad to hear you survived the birthday experience more or less unscathed, and that the junior jumpers did likewise. It's too bad Mack can't go to Wolf's school. Here's hoping Wolf doesn't end up acquiring the attitude that because they go to different schools, somehow Mack is less valuable a friend.

Sounds like the perfect birthday, And one benefit of Mick working the schools is the same as with MY Dad who taught at my HS. He knew not to sweat the little stuff, he knew my my friends and I were basically good kids and he knew what the bad ones were all about, so he didn't worry about us too much. He even said once he didn't think weed was all that bad compared to other drug options, which I thought was pretty cool at the time. He may not have been happy to know how much I partook of that option though, But, point is, Mick has seen the worst and knows Wolf is one of the good ones too.

Monkey Butt powder.... Hmmm, and Google tells me that CVS carries it and it's only $5.99. I think I will have to look for it next time I hit CVS. Thanks for the tip. I may have to pass this idea on to my brother... he and his son are training again to do another century bike ride across Death Valley this fall as a fund-raiser for Juvenile Diabetes... and this year his daughter is training to joint them. (Which is the part that impresses me. His son is a top-rated mountain bike racer but his daughter is a non-athlete who will be almost 43 at the time of the ride.) They might be able to use some Monkey Butt powder (or maybe they already know about it and I'm the clueless one).

Dear lord, now I have a mental picture of Mick in a tutu!

I'm so glad Wolf had such a fun birthday! And, like Deb, I can't get the image of Mick in a tutu out of my head! A magnetized book light? What does it stick to, and what is the laser pointer for??

And you are?
