Tell me all about it, dear...

Ah, poor MIL, how old is she now? It is concerning when they start to fret all the time. My sister's MIL is 85 or so and is doing this now, always worried, but not sure about what. She just has a feeling something is wrong and asks constantly if everyone is OK, where are they etc. Thank goodness for them they have you, but take care of yourself too, it can be a lot.

Crack me up! Wait `til she starts putting EVERYTHING into baggies, wrapped in elastics, and put into two more baggies...all of which goes into a ziploc, wrapped in more elastics, and dumped into the freaking tote bag with dozens of other baggie buddies. And then she'd fret because she couldn't find anything. Bless them.

Has your MIL been checked over lately? Suddenly personality changes are a bit worrying...

New email my dear. I am moving home to Tucson to take care of my folks who are 80 yrs old. Mom has Alzheimers (and Sundowners..yay) and Dad can't hear any longer. I am so happy that Wolf is now Mainstream once again. He's so damn bright but I know that the Aspbergers has been a real trial for both of you. Because of you he has a real chance at some control over this dominating psychological force in his life and having been a part of your online life for all these years I have 'seen' him grow up in so many ways because of your guiding hand. Bravo to you. Truly. I am about to go through my own trial by fire with my folks. I'm scared but I also feel that it is something that I have been preparing for all my life. I can only hope to be as intuitive as you in this new chapter in my life. I'm terrified.... John who USED to live in Phoenix, now Tucson Arizona. (please note new email.)_

Dichroic beat me to it - it may be time for MIL to have a pretty thorough physical, with you there to talk to the doctor. We had to do this with my mom, because she'd minimize everything with her doctor and we had to give him the real scoop.

YAY WOLF! And Wolf's mama of course. It's staggering that you've been doing this long. 10 years for me this month too. XO, D

Have to add my concern re MIL too. Could be she just needs some mild anti anxiety med to help her cope...with all the responsibility of FIL; she could be overwhelmed...but it wouldn't hurt to have her checked for early Alzheimers...

My Dad and also my sis's MIL took/take sometimes just 1/4 or 1/2 Lorazapam to take away the anxiety. It helps without making them drowsy, which is goo d because you can't talk them out of it once they are worried about something.

Let me just echo the cheers for Wolf (and you) and also express sympathetic concern for your MIL.
