Tell me all about it, dear...

"Dishing shit is always about the disher, not the dish-ee." That is so true! My cousin, who has had a decade of therapy, helped me to learn that lesson, and it really is a helpful tool to carry in a world full of mean people. .

This is another good reminder of life. I often say "pick your battles"...and try to live by that. Except for that rude snobbish rich lady on the Oasis who got in the cashier's face while I was trying to complete my purchase... I HAD to say something to her....and while it was so out of character for me; I did open my mouth and let 'er rip.... LOL

I think that since I've learned that lesson I've hardly encountered any hostility from anyone, anywhere. Just bimbling about minding my own business (well, as much as a nosy person like me can ever do), being civil, assuming everyone else will be, seems to put me in a place where that's all I find. Now that Ma's gone at any rate. Love you xxx

I'm really glad that I learned this when I was young... I've watched many go through it, some of them I could help, many I couldn't. Thanx for Being here!

Very astute observations, and oh-so-true. If we could all remember that the world would be vastly easier to navigate!
