I hope you find your old friend on Fb....I can't remember many of my old friends...the ones that I do remember are still in my life since I live in the same area.

You're a bit younger than I am - class of '76 here and from the wrong side of the tracks (and then some.) Good for you for steering clear of the parents' place for as long as possible. Favors for parents ALWAYS cost dearly, even if it's not in monetary terms.

"You made your bed, now you can lie in it" I heard that phrase spoken to myself and my three siblings more than once. What the hell was with that generation?? How could they so easily dismiss their children's growing pains? Hope you find your friend!

This past summer I was able to track down a college roommate via Facebook. (He wasn't on it, but his wife was.) -- You've just made me feel a bit old. It's not just that I am coming up on my 50th (Kingston High School class of '61), it's that it hit me that my son (Binghamton High School class of '86) graduated high school just five years after you. Damn! You are really young!
