Tell me all about it, dear...

Hey, think of it as great fodder for a screenplay. Who would play all the characters? Hmm... Anyway, wishing you, Mick, and Wolf a very Merry Christmas in spite of it all! (Maybe Chinese Turkey and True Grit on Boxing Day?)

I agree, sounds like a movie to me! If you partake of the demon rum, just don't drive. Merry Christmas!

Yes...A Christmas Story in 2010....What fun! NOT.... Might it have been easier to do it all yourself as always except that SIL would have pouted all day. Perhaps a "safe" word to Mick that when you have reached the level of losing it...you say the secret word and all 3 of you leave for the movie and a lovely late Chinese dinner....

OMG, the circus that your Christmas is turning into actually makes my holiday rodeo look tame!

I hope you have a good time, anyway. Merry Christmas to all of you!!

At least we'll get a couple of good journal entries out of it! Sorry you have such an awful day in store. Your SIL reminds me of my crazy aunt. I don't think she's afraid of me, though I s'pose it's possible, but she never has much nice to say about me. And when she was married, her husband wasn't allowed to talk to me. Even though I was, you know, married with kids. Whatever. Crazy peoples.

perhaps the rum would be better spent after the event and a dose of wine or sarcasm will get you through til then.... So sorry the quiet has been put on hold... love ya and merry Kringle!

I usually am feeling sorry for myself because we have very little family and don't do much of anything on holidays. After reading this, it's a relief that we will be alone tomorrow and with only one other couple (friends, not family!) on Saturday. I truly hope it turns out better than is predicted. I am sending you Merry Christmas wishes!!!
