Oh they ain't dumb... they just don't have the knowledge there. You wouldn't like them if the were actually dumb ;) (nor would I like Tex if he were... and he so isn't!)

I am sick to death of Beowulf and hero's journeys, etc., and so are the Seniors at our high school!

Somehow I'm not suprised, Mick never struck me as the literature type. So I guess my gripes with the education system should date back further than they currently do.

At this point in a parallel universe, I believe L would be shaking Mick warmly by the hand and saying "Welcome! It is always good to have new members of The Club." Remind me to tell you 'the popcorn story' at some later juncture. s x

The best part is that you both starting laughing over it...and now it is a story and a memory to treasure. My husband oftens expects me to know the defination of every word, have read every book and to know all the Hollywood gossip......I guess I should be flattered but it just makes me feel so ignorant when I can't give him an answer. LOL

I'm seriously impressed by 1) the fact that you baked cookies, whatever their origin; and 2) that you found a man like Mick. Congratulations on winning THAT lottery!
