Tell me all about it, dear...

I always thought of Mick as having the kind of personality that would enjoy cooking. Maybe he's afraid that if he learns too much that he'll no longer get to benefit from your kitchen wizardry. And, it seems like most of the time, you enjoy cooking. For the occasional, and sometimes necessary, night off, maybe the next time Mick wants to give you a special gift, that gift could be cooking classes for him. It could lead to him feeling more empowered and creative in the kitchen, and possibly taking over some of the responsibility to teach Wolf cooking skills.

I gots you another member for the 'husband who cant cook' club! But then, I think you knew that already - the chick-pea incident and the breadmaking having been already well documented. Thank god the kids can cook....well, Treacle can make pasta and can bake a cake from scratch, Jooj is pretty much up to that kind of 'hit and miss' stage - spectacular coffee sponge cake, perfectly adequate veggie lasagne, unspeakably vile risotto with which we could have reattached all the loose paving slabs on the patio. Hope you feel better soon. s x PS Order some takeout! s x

Dude! Mick could order in some food, and I'll bet he could get you some chicken soup. Heh. That's what my ex did on his night to cook.

Daniel is helpless in the kitchen, too. I swear, he doesn't know how to make freaking TOAST.

Most men don't want to learn to cook because they think that then you will not cook FOR them. Am I sick of the "oh but Honey, it just TASTES so much better when you fix it for me...."??? Yes, yes I am... Hope you feel better soon.

It's maddening to be sick. I started the oven mitts on fire last year so I can relate to the bacon blaze.

I hope you feel better soon. My hubby cooks just fine thanks to the marines. I get upset about the soap thing, though. Either you believe in soap or you don't. You touch the soap dispenser BEFORE you wash your hands so who cares if it is germy, you are washing your hands. If the germs can survive that then why bother washing anyway. I'm happy I don't live in the world all those hand sanitizing scardy kitties suffer.

And you are?
