Tell me all about it, dear...

At least, if you manage to get through this stage without taking the kid out and running him over the car, you can credit yourself with being a truly loving and wonderful mother.

Sometimes I wonder how the kids of today got these attitudes. Did WE really act like that ourselves? I, for one, was too scared to do anything wrong so it was difficult for me to relate to those who did. Sounds like a good day in your neighborhood. I had plans to start addressing Christmas cards but got caught up in online shopping.....

We never had baked sweet potatoes at home when I was a kid, either. David's family introduced me to them (along with conch fritters in Ft. Lauderdale and melt-in-your-mouth turtle in the Bahamas), and boy, am I grateful for that!

Good luck with your boy. When I was a youth director, I actually preferred working with boys that age. I must have been nuts.

I never ate a sweet potato or a yam until I moved to California. Never had an avocado either, for that matter.
