Tell me all about it, dear...

Sounds somewhat like the town I grew up outside of, except we were at least 12 hours from the nearest city of a million people. My town had a population of 1500, the nearest Wal-mart when they finally came was 60 miles, the nearest mall 120 miles. I rather like Fargo, it has the feel of a small town, but all the conviences of a city, ie it doesn't shut down at 7pm.

Wish I felt the same way about where I live!

Sounds like a great place to grow up and/or live in. Kind of sounds like Norman Rockwell should have painted pictures there.

I think it's the best thing about living in NYS. Country is never far from city, and you can easily on a regular basis, enjoy the best of both worlds. :)
