Tell me all about it, dear...

Personally, I've always liked a straight man in a bit of eye make up (Russell Brand, Tim Minchin etc), but maybe I'm acclimatised, living as I do in Britain's answer to SF. By the way, I started reading 'Eat, Pray, Love' last night and OMG, it's your voice!! Not exactly, of course, but bloody hell, how many expressions (like 'pony up') she uses that I've never encountered anywhere other than on this very page! She must come from your area, or must have been a secret sage-fan for years. So I'm hearing it in your voice and it is a great comfort to me. xxx

I've always loved ferris wheels, the taller the better, but my Mom wouldn't get on one ever. Good for you for gentling MIL onto it!

great story about Wolf. I can only wish I had eyelashes....they have disappeared lately so I use the mini-brush...... Also loved your previous blog about movies...my pet peeves are the ones where the hero shoots and runs and jumps and rolls around and never gets his clothes out of place or even breathes heavily...

Good for you for getting MIL on the ferris wheel! By the way, they actually make little eyelash combs - I use one, myself!

Ah, your post made me a little sad. I truly loved my mother-in-law and was devastated when she was killed by a drunk driver in 1983. I still dream about her to this day.
