I know what you mean about Steve... I stopped really enjoying his stuff somewhere around Rose Madder....Still have the classics and read them periodically. Too bad he couldn't have skipped the incident with the van.

I will always honor Stephen King, too. His work has brought me so much pleasure over the years, even if his newer stuff leaves me feeling like I've been run over by a mack truck. I guess that's why I keep reading him...

I always loved the Stephen King books too...haven't been reading much of the ones he wrote after his accident. I did read his son's first novel but not the second.
