Tell me all about it, dear...

sideways hats and pants belted just above the knee just don't make any sense, no how - no way.

Makes me want to pull up their pants. I especially miss admiring men's derriere. Used to be a favorite hobby of mine thwarted now by an ugly fashion statement. I'm told the cops like it though, hard to run when you have to hold up your pants. LOL. As for the good old days, I'm with you. No body should "own" the government, we are a democratic republic to specifically prevent the majority from squashing the civil rights of the minority. People just don't get it, they think the mob should rule, barbaric.

Funny, it makes me want to pull DOWN their pants and leave them standing in their underwear! LA, I agree with you on the hat thing.. it does make the wearer look pretty uneducated. But the pointy hair is everywhere here... women and men. It seems to be a style preferred by gay women.

Posting that picture again is worth it. He looks good, happy and like the all American kid. Glad he is willing to allow the posting. Hope the female innards problem can be fixed. I know you wouldn't miss all the down time that comes your way during the raging red storms...

Sorry not to comment on the Versatile Blogger thing, been busy!!! All-day meeting + dinner today. Don't quite know what the award means, but your friendship has definitely been one of the better things blogging has brought to my life. Usually when people talk to me about the Good Old Days, I hit back with child mortality statistics until they stop. This works especially well with parents.

I love that photo of Wolf. Did you give him the haircut? It's definitely a winner!

I thought about starting a series on my blog called "Pull Up Your Goddamn Pants" but I got scared of getting my ass kicked when the subject realized I'd taken a picture of their droopy drawers. Ah, well.

He IS a beauty! And did you ever see those baggy pants that are connected in a criss-cross in the back made of chains? Can you imagine if those kids ever had to run from a big bad bully? They'd look like they were running with their "pants on the ground" !

The one thing that I have learned through my reading is that The Good Old Days never did exist. It was just a nostalgic dream that people like to fantasize about now. I just finished a book about housewives in the 1950s, and let me tell you -- few of them were anything like Mrs Cleaver. But that's the image we've been sold.

totally with you on the hat thing. one of the programmers in my office like to wear his hat that way, and he looks like an idiot. mostly because you look like a moron with the hat crooked, but also because he's a 30 year old who can't put on a simple baseball hat. sheesh

And you are?
