Oooo I put eggs in mine too! Yummy! Plus any veggies and cheese I have, but I haven't tried fruit yet.

My mother's god-awful tuna casserole makes me leery of anything "tuna noodle," but knowing what a good cook you are, I must confess to being curious about your recipe... By the way, gram reminds me of my former father-in-law. He was a mean bastard to everyone except my girls and me...

I bet the fact that you lived with a mother who was never satisfied and a first husband who was more of the same has helped you see through the remarks that MIL makes from time to time. She paid her dues and now probably feels lost without all that "work" to do. Your tuna casserole sounds wonderful. I should find my way to the kitchen and make some myself....

I love love love tuna noodle salad. And the longer is mellows, the yummier it gets. I usually put the same things in it each time -- pasta shells, tuna, peas, eggs, mayo, mustard, Old Bay seasoning. NOM. I should make some. It's yummiest in the summer. Also? My (step)mom loves to think the worst of me. If I say the least thing to my husband, she's always on me to be nicer to him. And she always assume I'm being snitty because she would be in that situation. Then she always says, "Well, I know I scarred you so badly and I didn't teach you how to act properly..." GAH. NO. Clearly you do not know me at all, and you're just projecting on me. Thanks so much.

And you are?
