Tell me all about it, dear...

I haven't seen those "window clings" for the departed, and consider myself damn lucky!

We have a window cling family in our neighborhood. I also see lots of those clings with the stick figures telling you how many, including pets, are in the family. They are driving a mini-van, am I surprised? We also have lots of roadside shrines. And you're right, of the ones I know about, many have been Darwin Award moments, street racing on winding country roads, drunk driving, kids playing in the street on a busy road , people walking along the road at night in the dark etc. One kid from our HS , not drunk or on drugs, just too tired after an entire night of prom and after-prom drove out to McDonalds and turned in front of someone or drifted, I forget. Sad, but why was he still up? And why does a Prom night that starts early with dinner, have to included "after prom", a school sanctioned event, that goes until 4am? They can't afford to keep the limos that long so they end up driving anyway, when they are the most tired, or messed up. Crazy.

I agree....we often pass those roadside shrines and it makes me wonder what it is like to maintain those...seems like a peaceful cemetary setting would be best to remember our loved ones. And I have also seen those window clings....so strange.

Death at a Funeral - shit on the mirror - I screamed "oh no" at the tops of my lungs in the theater. Gross, but so funny!
