This storm sure was one for the record books and has left so many with messes to clean up and sadness to work through. We have been lucky so far but it looks like the continued snow and the potential for warmer temps may make the coming week interesting. Come hang here if you need to escape the clean up of your beloved trees.... cute babies will put a smile on any face.

I'm so sorry about your trees, especially the magnolia. Hugs.

I'm so sorry. What a devastating experience. I hope the clean-up goes well and that there's time for you to get a little more comfort today.

My sister is in the same sort of mourning. Some of your younger green friends may bounce back but the older woody one probably won't. I think maybe when it's time to clear the damage maybe you should come down and visit :)

My heart is breaking for you and the loss of your friends. Peace and blessings as you find your way.

I do feel your pain. I still miss the triple trucked wild cherry tree by our house that neighbor and husband wanted cut down...it was filled with ivy...a real messy tree but I loved it so. Do have Mick take pictures, you may have coverage to replace some of the trees and coverage for cutting them down (debris removal). Maybe you can get something out of the mess.

So sad to lose trees, my sincere sympathies to you. We've had to plant all but the one that was already here when we bought the house since they just don't grow out here on their own. I would be devastated too, if we lost them, since we picked each one out ourselves and planted them and watered and watered them. Speaking of water, you're on a well I take it, so no water from the pump when the powers out. My sister in Upstate has the same deal and has to remind everyone if the power is out to not flush unless absolutely necessary.
