Tell me all about it, dear...

Wow. Hoping it goes smoothly, and that he gets home okay. The upside is, of course, that you're raising a son who's getting himself up and off to school on his own; and that's a testament to you as his mom... he's becoming responsible and self-motivated!

Yay for self-sufficient Wolf, bummer for worried mom. I feel your pain--I spent much of yesterday making phantom funeral arrangements for my drugged out post-surgical patient. And you know, it wouldn't be wrong to send Mick off the fetch the lad, not wrong at all. Love you, K.

I know how it is. Some circumstances are triggers that make you crazy, and there's not enough comfort in the world to make it better. I hope it's possible to call Wolf's school and find out whether or not he got there in one piece. Also, I'm sure that if you mentioned that you aren't comfortable putting your son on a bus to ride for an HOUR in a snowstorm, that you wouldn't be the only parent to say so.

Kudos for Wolf's self sufficiency, but poo kudos for the school who would do something like that. Maybe you and Mick should go get him before conditions get even worse. Of course, but the time you read this (time change), he will probably be home already.

Go get him!

I understand your fears....and if the snow is getting worse, call the school and ask if the students will be sent home soon...if not and if you are still worried, send your knight in shining armor to get your son....then you can worry about both of them getting home in one piece or you can go with Mick to get Wolf....

My knight in shining armor isn't about to risk his precious truck to go fetch Wolf. I asked him to go and he flat out refused.

I could not believe most districts actually opened today! My phone just rang a short while ago and PB is closing early... like putting the buses out on the road now that seven inches of snow has fallen makes sense. Mick should take it under advisement that picking the kid up in his truck is the wise thing to do under the circumstances, you can tell him I said so. If I didn't have baby feedings I would go get him for you {{LA & Wolf}}

I was going to suggest that Mick go get Wolf, and am absolutely stunned to see that you asked and he refused. Daniel once drove all the way to Albany in the pitch dark to pick Rebecca up, and he hates driving in the dark... I'm sorry, dear one.

While reading how upset you were, I too couldn't help but think to myself that Wolf is definitely growing up!

And you are?
